Vleesbaai – Primary solar with standby/backup energy
Primary solar power, secondary Eskom(grid power) energy usage has an average of 13kWhrs per day Solar energy yield. The renewable energy system was recently installed in Vleesbaai, Western Cape, South Africa by the team of energy specialists from Specialized Solar Systems.
Using solar power as a primary source of electrical energy and Eskom power as a backup resort, the system ensures a large saving on monthly Eskom charges.
The system also consists of a standby battery bank that ensures that solar power is available day and night no matter the situation with Eskom availability and supply.
